The Greater Bengaluru Authority will oversee five corporations divided into ten zones. Karnataka scraps BBMP to form Greater Bengaluru Authority with 5 city corporations, new commissioners, and a 3-tier governance structure. The Greater Bengaluru Governance Act, 2024, is all set to introduce a three-tier governance structure in Bengaluru. It brings together all the parastatals in the city along with the five city corporations and ward committees on a single platform.
