Sudha Murty is a much-acclaimed Indian author and columnist. A prolific writer, Sudha Murty ’s books are available in Kannada and English. However, the translation of her works is also available in Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, and Gujarati. Several of Sudha Murty 's stories have self-realisation and charity as the key themes. Sudha Murty was born in 1950 in Shiggaon in north Karnataka. She did her MTech in computer science and is now the chairperson of the Infosys Foundation.
