Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Meaning The Arabic proverb means, “Allah send blessings on the Holy Prophet and send blessings on the family of the Holy Prophet and also send peace on the Holy Prophet.” And whenever the name of the Holy Prophet is mentioned, one should recite salallahu alayhi wasalam. As in the hadith Mubarakah, Hazrat Ana narrated that Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said: Whoever sends blessings on me once, Allah will bless him 10, forgive him ten sins and raise him ten degrees ... All Muslims are obligated to say ‘Sall Allāhu ʿalay-hi wa-sallam ’, whenever they hear or write the name of Holy Prophet Mohammed صلى الله عليه وسلم As you have noticed, in the previous sentence I wrote ‘Sall Allāhu ʿalay-hi wa-sallam ’ in Arabic after the name of the Holy Prophet. → Hindi: सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि वसल्लम ( sallallāhu alaihi vasallam ) → Kazakh: саллалаһу әлейһи уә сәлләм (sallalahu äleihi uä sälläm) → Persian: صلی الله علیه وسلم (sallâ-llâho 'aleyhe va-sallam)
