~ Prime Minister Narendra Modi1 The Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY), launched by the Prime Minister on April 8, 2015,2 has played a pivotal role in empowering non-corporate, non-farm small and micro enterprises by providing loans of up to ₹10 lakh. To strengthen support for aspiring entrepreneurs, the finance minister announced an increase in the loan limit to ₹20 lakh during the Union Budget 2024 -25 on July 23, 2024 . This new limit took effect on October 24, 2024 . About PM Awas Yojana Urban 2.0 PM Awas Yojana Urban 2.0 (PMAY-U 2.0) is an extension of the government’s flagship “Housing for All” mission, aiming to provide affordable housing in urban areas from September 1, 2024 , for five years. In 2024 , the Indian government will continue to promote inclusive growth and social welfare through various schemes. The Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) improves financial inclusion, while the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi ( PM -KISAN) provides ₹6,000 annually to small farmers for financial stability. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban 2.0 (PMAY-U 2.0) Scheme is aimed to provide all-weather pucca houses to all eligible urban households across the country with the vision of ‘Housing for All’.
