PM-SHRI is a Centrally Sponsored scheme announced in 2022 for the development of more than 14500 schools across the country. Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India ( PM SHRI , transl. Prime Minister 's Schools for Rising India) or simply PM SHRI Scheme[1] was launched by Government of India on 07-September-2022 to improve the quality of education and infrastructure in schools. [2][3] The PM SHRI schools are exemplar schools that showcase the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020. [4] The PM SHRI School is a centrally sponsored scheme initiated by the Government of India.
