New education policy 2020: Such a lofty goal

Such a lofty goal will require the entire education system to be reconfigured to support and foster learning, so that all of the critical targets and goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development can be achieved. National Education Policy 2020 PM SHRI: 14,500 schools across India: quality education , cognitive development, and 21st-century skills in students. DIKSHA: to enhance teacher training and professional development by accelerating innovative educational solutions and experiments. A number of initiatives are also undertaken by UGC and AICTE for quality improvement in higher and technical education. NEP 2020 unequivocally endorses and envisions a substantial increase in public investment in education by both the Central government and all State Governments. The National Education Policy 2020 proposes various reforms in school education as well as higher education including technical education . A number of action points/activities for implementation in school education as well as higher education are mentioned in the National Education Policy 2020 .
