Neem Karoli Baba established several ashrams (spiritual centers) in India, the most famous being the Kainchi Dham ashram near Nainital in the Himalayan foothills. Neem Karoli Baba took samadhi in the year 1973, and since then is considered as the incarnation of Lord Hanuman. The Kainchi Dham got famous when in the year 1973, Steve Jobs, Ex-CEO of Apple Inc, visited the temple. Kainchi Dham is a Shree Hanuman Ji temple and Ashram which is established by a great Param Pujya Saint Shree Neem Karoli Maharaj Ji in 15th June 1960s.It is located in between two hills that cut and cross each other to create a shape of scissors. That's why this place is called "Kainchi Dham " You can feel the great strengths and presence of Hanuman Ji in the Ashram. Neem Karoli Baba Ashram Kainchi Dham Kainchi is a beautiful secluded mountain ashram located in the Kumaon Hills in Uttarakand. The first temple was inaugurated in June 1964. It is approximately 38 km from Nainital. Many hundreds of people visit the temples here every day, in season.
