The Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI ) has cleared the mist around Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli 's central contract , which had already been done before they made their retirement announcement. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will remain in A+ contract even after their retirement from test cricket said BCCI secretary Devajit Salakia. “ Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma ’s grade A+ contract will continue even after both announced retirement from T- 20 and Test Matches. They are still part of Indian cricket, they will get all facilities of Grade A+,” BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia said. BCCI announced Team India’s central contracts for 2024-25 season. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been retained in A+ despite T20I retirement . Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan have returned after being sidelined last year. Meanwhile, Ashwin has been excluded and Rishabh Pant promoted and four new players got maiden contracts.
