IIT Kharagpur offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, science and technology , and continuing education programmes. It is a corpus institute of SIDBI and conducts research in various areas of national relevance. Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur , also known as IIT Kharagpur , is the first IIT to be established in 1951.
