Every year, multiple candidates are recruited for the Gramin Dak Sevak ( GDS ) post in the Post Office based solely on the qualification of passing the 10th standard, without any examination. Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to fill the vacant posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks ( GDSs ) [i.e. Branch Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevaks] in different offices of the Department of Posts . The detail of the vacant posts is given in Annexure-I. India Post has released the Post Office Recruitment 2025 notification for 21,413 Gramin Dak Sevak ( GDS ) vacancies including Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak. The online application process is going to close soon, and today is the last date to apply online.
