Flag hoisting: As per paragraph 2

As per paragraph 2.2 of the Flag Code of India, a member of the public, a private organization, or an educational institution may hoist /display the National Flag on all days or occasions in accordance with the dignity and honour of the National Flag . Hoisting involves tying the flag at the bottom of the flag pole and then raising it to the top.
