The Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana (PM-SYM) is a pension scheme for unorganized sector workers aged 18–40 with a monthly income of ₹15,000 or less. Eligible individuals can enroll via self-registration or Common Service Centres (CSCs). Upon reaching 60 years, beneficiaries receive a monthly pension of ₹3,000, ensuring financial security during old age and promoting social welfare. More e -Shram, an initiative of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, is a step towards building the Aadhaar Authenticated Comprehensive National Database of Unorganized Workers (NDUW), working in the country.
