A cosmopolitan A cosmopolitan, or, informally, a cosmo, is a cocktail made with vodka, Cointreau, cranberry juice, and freshly squeezed or sweetened lime juice. The cosmopolitan is a member of the Gimlet family of cocktails. Though often presented far differently, the cosmopolitan also bears a likeness in composition to the kamikaze shooter. Welcome to the re-launched Cosmopolitan Australia, your source for the latest sex tips, pop culture news, dating advice, beauty tips and more. Cosmopolitan magazine was officially titled Hearst's International Combined with Cosmopolitan from 1925 until 1952 but was simply referred to as Cosmopolitan. In 1911, Hearst had bought a middling monthly magazine called World To-Day and renamed it Hearst's Magazine in April 1912. Health tips, home decor advice, and a bunch of other stuff you wish you learned in college.
