Tsongmo Lake , also known as Changu Lake , is a glacial lake in East Sikkim, 40 km from Gangtok. It is a popular tourist attraction with changing colours, flowers, birds and yaks. Tsomgo Lake , also known as Changu Lake, is one of the most striking natural wonders in Sikkim. Surrounded by steep snow-clad mountains and set at an altitude of about 3,753 meters (12,313 ft), this oval-shaped glacial lake changes its appearance with the seasons.
