CGTMSE is a Government of India scheme launched in the year 2000 in collaboration with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). CGTMSE offers loans to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) without any collateral or third-party guarantee. CGTMSE is a trust set up by Government of India and SIDBI to provide guarantee cover for collateral free credit to micro and small enterprises (MSEs). It offers a hybrid security product and aims to strengthen credit delivery system and facilitate flow of credit to MSEs. I. INTRODUCTION The Board of Trustees of Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises ( CGTMSE ), had framed a Scheme for the purpose of providing guarantees in respect of credit facilities extended by Lending Institutions to the borrowers in Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs).
