296 km Bundelkhand Expressway project by UPEIDA is an operational 4 lane access-controlled road with a route alignment connecting Kudrail Village in Etawah District with Bharatkoop on NH-35 in Chitrakoot District. On July 16, 2022, prime minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 296-km-long Bundelkhand Expressway at Katheri village in Jalaun district. The Bundelkhand Expressway is a four-lane controlled-access highway linking the backward regions in the state, to the national capital. Bundelkhand Expressway is a 296 km-long (184-mile), four-lane wide (expandable to six) access-controlled expressway in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. [2] It connects Gonda village on NH-35 in Chitrakoot district with Kudrail village on Agra–Lucknow Expressway in Etawah district. [3] Uttar Pradesh Industrial Expressway Authority has started its process for this. It will connect Jhansi with Jalaun. India’s different expressways and Highways are strengthening connectivity in the nation. Many projects are underway that will be game changers and boost the country’s economy.
