Actor Moon Moon Sen's husband, and father of Raima and Riya Sen, Bharat Dev Varma, passed away at his Kolkata residence on Tuesday. Bharat Dev Varma was a royal family member of Tripura and the husband of actress Moon Moon Sen. He died on 19 November 2024 in Kolkata after a stroke. Bharat Dev Varma (born Maharaja Bharat Kishore Dev Burman 1941) [1] (literal phonetic rendering in Bengali) is a minor Tripuri royal, currently living in the city of Kolkata. He is the husband of actress Moon Moon Sen and the nephew of Maharani Gayatri Devi, and as the father of Bollywood actresses Raima Sen and Riya Sen (who use their mother's surname professionally and socially).
