While we're closing in on the release of Android 16, it is still in active development, so the Android system and apps running on it might not always work as expected. Android 16 has already made its debut on Pixel devices and next in line are Android phones from different brands. Like always, the latest version of Android OS is bringing a plethora of new features. As of now, the OS is available for most of the latest Pixel phones. Next, we will get to see the Android 16 update rolling out for Samsung devices. First official beta version was released on 23rd of January, 2025. It was the first major Android version to alter the ongoing once-a-year release schedule. The consumer-ready, stable Android 16 was released on 10th of June, 2025 - and was first made available to Google's Pixel phones, as usual.
