À¤¯à¥ निकॉà¤: My page often shows things like
My page often shows things like ë, Ã, ì, ù, à in place of normal characters. I use utf8 for header page and MySQL encode. How does this happen? This is UTF-8 encoded Devanagari wrongly displayed as Windows-1252. If you reverse the direction, e.g. piconv -f utf-8 -t windows-1252 -s '¤ªà¤• ॠषी के à ¤ªà¤¾à¤¸ à ¤µà¥‹ à¤¸à ¤¾à¤° ी सॠख à¤¸à¥ à ¤µà¤¿ à¤§à ¤¾à¤ à¤ à ¤¹à¥ˆà¤‚, à ¤œà¥‹ उनके à ¤œà' then you get parts of the original text back: क ?षी के पास वोसारी स ?ख स ... Could I get a few people to explain the difference in pronunciation between a, á, ã, â and à in Portuguese using English comparisons (if possible)? I can't seem to find a thread or other Web site that addresses them each clearly. Thanks! Learn how to type A with accent letters on the keyboard using shortcuts, these includes typing a with grave, acute, Circumflex, tilde, umlaut, and a ring above.
