It's perfect for enjoying on the go or at outdoor gatherings. Did we choose the name Elephant to honour the statues that guard our brewery gates, or because it's a beer you'll remember forever? Pale gold in colour, Elephant is rich in malty character, with a hint of caramel, balanced by a satisfyingly dry bitterness. The elephant represents both strength of the beer and an exotic taste, or at least that’s what the pen notes say. The inspiration came from Architect J. L. Dahlerup who, in 1901, created a tower resting on four elephants carved in granite. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, Carlsberg Elephant Strong Beer combines premium quality water, carefully selected barley malt, aromatic hops, and specialized yeast strains, ensuring a beer of unparalleled strength and complexity.
