Rastriya e-pustakalayaRashtriya e-Pustakalaya (राष्ट्रीय ई पुस्तकालय) or National Digital Library (NDL) is a digital initiative by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, for facilitating availability of quality digital books beyond the academic curricula across geographies, languages, genres and levels, and device agnostic accessibility. A State-level workshop on the future of digital libraries in India and the importance of digital education was held at Providence Women’s College, Kozhikode, on Monday, 24th March 2025. R. Dinesh, Director of the Indian Institute of Spices Research, inaugurated the programme, which was organised with the support of the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) and the NDLI Club. Representatives from various educational institutions participated in the workshop. ELIB.ORG.IN is a digital library, repository and archive for the preservation of scientific and literary works of Indian and foreign authors. The project works on the principles of free participation: everyone can register and save their scientific or literary works. National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community.
