Banda is a district in Uttar Pradesh state, India, with historical and cultural significance. It is known for its Shajar stone, Khajuraho temples, Kalinjar fort and its agricultural economy. Judgeship Banda was created by separation from Jhansi Judgeship in 1958. It is situated close to Collectorate Banda. There are four Court Buildings which are as under :- (a) Old Building – It was constructed in 1835 which has now been declared as Heritage Building. The Court and offices of District Judge are running in this building. Banda is a major city and Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh, India.
